The Uttar Pradesh government has successfully gathered more than 7.1 million responses as part of its ambitious initiative aimed at transforming the state into a developed region by 2047. According to an official statement, over 5.6 million of these responses have originated from rural areas.
Under the campaign titled 'Samarth Uttar Pradesh - Viksit Uttar Pradesh @2047: Samriddhi Shatabdi Mission,' Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is spearheading efforts to enhance public participation across the state.
As per the government’s announcement, by November 2025, nodal officers and distinguished citizens will have extensively toured all 75 districts, engaging with various target groups including students, educators, business owners, entrepreneurs, farmers, NGOs, labor unions, media personnel, and the general public.
The statement further elaborated that these officials shared insights regarding the state's developmental journey over the past eight years and solicited suggestions to shape the roadmap for future progress. The dedicated portal for this campaign has recorded a total of 7,119,607 responses.
Of these, 5,648,094 responses came from rural areas, while 1,471,515 were from urban regions. When analyzed by sector, agriculture received 1,871,355 responses, followed by rural development with 1,381,355, education with 1,616,590, social welfare with 549,594, urban development and health with 484,735, industry with 263,415, livestock and dairy with 284,857, IT and technology with 200,376, tourism with 168,819, and security with 134,683.
